Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership

The Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership is designed to provide professional preparation for students in pursuing careers such as: (1) principals and other building administrators and supervisors in public and private schools; (2) superintendents and other central administrative personnel; (3) federal and state governmental agency officials; (4) educational administration professoriate; and (5) other education related professionals. Within each of these areas, there is some flexibility to fashion programs of study tailored to unique student career goals. Every program, no matter which career focus is selected, is subject to final approval by the student's advisor and his or her doctoral advisory committee.
